The Sanbornton Historical Document Foundation will be offering a variety
of services, workshops and technical assistance to historical and preservation
organizations with similar missions. This past year has been one full
of accomplishments for SHDF. in moving our mission forward. During this
past year, We have also learned more a great deal about the technical
and financial needs not only of our organization, but within the “historical
community” in New Hampshire. These needs should be addressed and therefore,
the Sanbornton Historical Document Foundation is initiating services,
workshops and technical assistance to address those needs and work collaboratively
with other organizations to help preserving New Hampshire History
for the future.
Services
Web hosting for Historical Societies and other Historical Organizations
This service will provide an affordable “starter” web page
for the organization hosted on our current site. It includes and email
address that can be forwarded or to an officer of the organization or
receive accessed via the internet. The web content is prepared by the
organization and can be updated online. View Example here. Cost $175/year

Technical Assistance & Project Management
Technical Assistance
The Foundation is available for consultation. The technical assistance
will be provided by the Coordinator of the Foundation, Jennifer Mayo.
The types of technical assistance can be organizing and planning for a
digital project, technical digital information;software and equipment,
fundraising and grant writing, historical resources for preservation and
conservation, public relations and marketing. The technical assistance
will be provided by the Coordinator of the Foundation, Jennifer Mayo.
The fees for technical assistance are negotiated on an individual basis.
Project Management
The Foundation is available to provide project management for digital
projects by acting as fiscal agent and/or providing direct project management
services. The fees for project management are negotiated on an individual
basis.
